Consumer Complaint: This account has been re-aged. The original account was from XXXX XXXX, dated back in XX/XX/XXXX. Phoenix financial purchased the account and re-aged it to show the original debt was in XX/XX/XXXX. I asked them in a recorded conversation to update and report the account accurately. They refused to do so and stated that it would fall off my credit in 7 years unless I paid them money, I refused. If every creditor sold a debt after 6 years and the new creditor reported it as new debt, the process would always continue to be on my credit. Please correct this and report the debt accurately.
