Consumer Complaint: I have been receiving calls from a lawyer for Bank of America. He is stating that I had an old checking account with a {$610.00} balance leftover from 2010 that BofA is trying to collect on and take me to court. This is not mine, and even if it was it is way past the Texas Statute of Limitations of 4 years for debt collections. I have had multiple calls and my wife as well, saying we were going to get served court documents.
