Consumer Complaint: I was a cash patient to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, CA XXXX ) back last year prior to XX/XX/2017. At that time I was a XXXX not having the best health insurance plan so it was best to pay as a cash patient ( per XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ). I paid the full amount of {$100.00} for the check up and was told from the front office that my account ” WAS PAID IN FULL AND CURRENT ”. My assumption here is the back office was NEVER updated and I find out through a letter from Credit Consulting Services , INC. on XX/XX/XXXX a collection letter that states COLLECTION NOTICE for the amount of {$100.00} + {$11.00} ( Interest ) = {$110.00} I reached out to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX with the above mentioned address and even on XXXX this business does not exist and is CLOSED. They’re now a new business operating under XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and when I attempted to get the back end office number to clear up this discrepancy I was informed a contact number to which when I called that number this number was a non existing phone number. This is very frustrating as I never got ONE single letter mail from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX over a year later stating I owe an amount to Credit Consulting Services INC, with a Collection Notice that I owe a debt that should’ve been cleared up by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX when I paid the full amount. Why must my credit be affected as a negative item and suffer when XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX clearly was at fault by hiring incompetent employees that could not complete a simple task as such as updating a payment record for a cash patient.
