Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/17 Alpine Credit charged my credit card for {$1800.00} confirmation number XXXX. Speaking to XXXX, the authorization to charge the card was based upon their agreement to make an exception to their standard policy and delete the record based upon my address changes that my non-receipt of any prior notices.

On XX/XX/17 I sent a letter demanding proof that they were authorized and/or contracted to collect the alleged debt and for documentation. No response received.

I have made two additional calls to Alpine and asked on the status for the deletion, and was told that they do not do that. I advised them of the conversation with XXXX on XX/XX/17 and was told that there was nothing they would do.

I did not authorize my card to be charged without the aforementioned deletion and would under no circumstances have provided that information to them.

Furthermore I believe they have multiple FCRA violations on every contact with them, they have never identified that they are a debt collector and that any information they collect may be used. Per the FCRA.
