Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX claims I owe XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX, the policy was canceled on XX/XX/XXXX. Prior to this, I spoke with a XXXX in billing, he was explained that a prior payment made by myself was returned and asked if I would have time to make replacement payment before policy cancels. He stated clearly I would have opportunity to make said payment before cancellation occurs, which I did not …. The policy then canceled shortly after on XX/XX/XXXX. Payment was mailed around this time in form of a XXXX XXXX money order, the payment receipt portion was discarded unfortunately. Lately, I’ve been receiving a number of calls from CCS ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ), reps were advised payment was sent and still attempt to collect on debt and or refer me to XXXX XXXX. I will not make another payment … If original was lost in the mail, misplaced by XXXX XXXX or intercepted by wrong party then that is not my fault. XXXX XXXX rep did state I could make payment before cancellation, this could have been avoided, had that rep not lied.
