Consumer Complaint: In XXXX, I was overseas, and was not allowed access to m account since I had missed a payment. I HAD to make a payment. In XXXX and some of XXXX, after my motorcycle accident, I was only able to live off my XXXX PENSION FROM THE GOVERNMENT, ( which Navy Federal Credit Union is taking still, even though it is exempt, this shows up as XXXX XXXX on my deposits ) they still were restricting access unless I made a payment. While recovering from the accident, XXXX of my XXXX check were going to XXXX XXXX, and I was left to use roughly {$100.00} I had left to work with for the month. In other words, they made me pay them with the XXXX check I was getting just so I could have access to my account. https : XXXX I then learned it was always illegal for Navy Federal credit union to restrict access. I have since had phone calls with Navy Federal concerning getting compensated, as I feel I am owed. For some reason, they can never seem to know or remember what I am referring to. They said they would look into my issue over a year ago on the phone, and I have never heard anything back.
