Consumer Complaint: In XXXX, and again in XXXX, I sent paperwork to Navient for loan forgiveness, based on the fact that I have XXXX full time, XXXX XXXX, in XXXX XXXX for over 20 years. I definitely qualify for loan forgiveness, based on this fact. The first time I tried, they denied me. The second time, they ignored me. They are still billing me for XXXX, in spite of the fact that I have made regular monthly payments for many years. I’m sure I’ve paid off what I borrowed, however the interest has made it impossible to keep up.
I believe they are hoping I will just give up, but I know I have earned the loan forgiveness for teaching special education.
