Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2017, I was admitted to XXXX Hospital, incurring medical bills from various providers. All were paid and satisfied by myself, or my health insurance company, XXXX. XXXX XXXX continued to pursue an alleged debt, even though they told XXXX that they would credit my account. They then sent the account into a collections process with Professional Finance Company ( PFC ). I responded to PFC regarding the fact that this bill had been paid by my insurance company, but they have not removed the blemish on two of my 3 credit reports. I have written to all of the credit agencies, and so far, XXXX is the only company to remove the false information. I have also followed up with a letter to both XXXX XXXX and PFC with documentation proving that the medical amount was paid in full by XXXX. In fact, even though XXXX paid the claim 100 %, I had already submitted payment of {$50.00} which XXXX owes to me! I am attaching the documentation to support this information. I have lived with a chronic condition ( XXXX XXXX ) and have never had an accurate blemish on any of my credit reports. My history of paying my debts in full and on time is clearly indicated by all 3 of my credit reports. I believe the effort I’ve had to put into trying to clear my good name is beyond anything that should be required.
