Consumer Complaint: I am disputing the accuracy of the information Trident Asset Management LLC is reporting to my credit file with all of the three major credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ). Trident is reporting a collections account as ” verified and accurate ”, yet have FAILED to respond to my dispute letter, violating my consumer rights under FCRA.
I mailed Trident Asset Management LLC a Certified Dispute Letter, # XXXX. However, the letter was returned to me as ” Undeliverable ” ( copy of front and back side of the unopened, returned letter attached, as well as, an online notice from USPS indicating an attempt was made to deliver the Certified Letter on XX/XX/XXXX, but were unsuccessful ). Apparently, the contact information Trident Asset Management LLC provided on my XXXX credit report is INACCURATE. Whether Trident provided inaccurate contact information deliberately ( there have been other consumer complaints regarding this already ), I can not ascertain, but what I do know is that Trident is suppose to provide correct and accurate contact information so that I may exercise my consumer rights to dispute any information they are reporting to my credit file with XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. They are now in violation of Section 609 of the FCRA and I am requesting they delete this collections account from my credit file with all three credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX and XXXX ).
Please also note that I NEVER received a 30 Day Notice to Dispute this Debt from Trident BEFORE they started reporting this collections account to my credit file with XXXX, XXXX and XXXX.
