Consumer Complaint: I had a Charged Off loan with Navy Federal and was able to settle this debt in XX/XX/XXXX. The amount was settled for less and was agreed to the {$2400.00}.
I have a written agreement from Navy Federal that I have satisfied my debt on this loan and there would be no further action needed on my part. I have contacted XXXX on this matter and there’s no resolution and made me go to creditor. I have also called them and they insisted that I ” wanted to pay ” the debt, when in reality I wanted to inquire about re-establishing an account, not opening an old debt.
I received a FICO notification XX/XX/XXXX saying that I owe in the amount of {$4500.00}. They re-opened this charge off that was settled because I Inquired about ” re-establishing ” my membership with them. This is now on ” bad collection debt ” and has severely affected my credit profile.
I no longer owe this debt due to settlement and needs to be deleted all together as it has affected my other creditors relationship and are threatened with closure.
