Consumer Complaint: Someone contacted my brother in law and said that they were looking for me to collect a debt. When I called the company back, they stated they were XXXX. I XXXX them online and could not find any information about them. I then XXXX their number ( XXXX ) XXXX and it came up that it was fraudulent. When I told the person on the phone what I had found, she hung up on me. I then called back and demanded to know why they were calling me. The women stated I was being sued. They asked for my social security number and when I wouldn’t provide it, the women stated she could not provide me with any information if I would not provide it and hung up on me.
