So far so good. They are paying off one of my debts.
I am in the process of trying to get my money back from clear one. I decided before the 4 months was up to cancel with them, which they said I could and would get a full refund. They had only negotiated with one of my creditors in a three month period. A payment was scheduled to go out to that particular creditor but I called clear one and said to cancel that payment because there was no way I could continue the program, they assured me the payment would not go out but it did. Then they told me the balance of my money would be deposited in my bank by Wednesday the 2nd of Sept. It is now Thursday the 3rd. Not only that, the money is gone and they said global client solutions took it for fees. Global said clear one took my money. I’ve been on the phone for hrs. talking to both company’s and am now waiting on another call from clear one. This company is a huge rip off. I wrote to the BBB with my complaint. BEWARE!!! Also their charge for me was $7.000.00. All I can say is I’m the stupid one for trusting this company although I guess I did not research them good enough. I will continue to fight to get my money back.
Hello Susan! My name is Juan Cepeda License #TP20751. I I have over 20 years of experience in all forms of debt relief. I’m sorry to hear about your situation with Clear one. I help consumers out these programs by referring them to a debt resolution program. This is superior to any other service out there. No escrow. Legal protection with a consumer protection attorney.
I have recieved “mysterious” job offers from this company and now from what I see about it on here I am not sure about going to my interview. I agree with most of the bad reviews on here. To me it seems like they will “train” me to be an “evil” employee with no respect for anyone’s privacy and to just steal their money, etcetera. ~Sighs.~
i am an employee here , and it is a great place to work, u should never judge a place based on what other people think, we try very hard to help everyone, jessie, if i can say something, that jobs and short and few to come by and i have been working here for a while now and i wouldnt leave for anything in the world, u should check it for urself and not listen to what other people say before u see it first hand
The post above speaks volumes about the type of person you will deal with at this company. It reads like a slow 6th grader wrote it.Â
The objective of Clear One is to have you stop making payments on your unsecured debt (regardless of your current credit score) so they can “negotiate” a settlement amount once the account has gone into collections. Literally, anyone can negotiate a settlement once it has gone to collections. They possess no special skill other than convincing people to stop making payments so the account can go to collections.
The fact the CEO has been nominated for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year is utterly laughable.
Clear One is a disgusting, farce of a company and you are a fucking idiot if you use them.
You clearly don’t know anything about the process. Just a bitter, sad, miserable person. I’d also like to add arrogant and pretentious…I bet if it were explained to a 6th grader they would understand it better than you- and also not have the foul mouth and jealous attitude you do. Just saying =]
I agree with you.
credit card companies can sue you in some states. If they wait 20 months of you not paying. Your debt is worse. Who get the money that you send. Clearone. Then you have bad credit for two more years.
Anyone CAN attempt to settle with a creditor themselves, however, these people do it all day long. It would take me 10 years to get out of debt on my own at this point and to have my payments consolidated and my debt negotiated down substantially, (which I don’t have the time or energy to do myself), I am still saving almost 10K even with potential tax consequences. And all of it in 3 years. My CPA doesn’t think I’m an idiot.
My husband did a clear one advantage. I think they freeze your account because they said while on the process of negotiation, you cannot used any your credit card that you have apply for debt reduction. that make sense, right? they freeze the interest…sounds good to us. My husband got a discount of  35% discount, without interest once they freeze your account. We paid off by 2 yrs….
After termination of ClearOne Advantage because of not getting the help that I needed. Guess what the money that I saved up was forwarded to my bank account. They already knew that my check was being garnished. They told Global to send the check to my bank, but I gave Global instruction to mail the check to my home address. ClearOne said that they didn’t give Global permission. But Global said ClearOne did. That was money to paid on my rent and other bills. ClearOne is not a good company. Alway saying that they will pass you information on to their lawyers. Really are any lawyers with ClearOne. It’s hold to believe for the service that was render to me. A lot of problems that are getting worse everyday.
This company didn’t do me any justice. I could have done everything on my own. Stop paying on my loan account, and saving money in a bank account. I was press to save money in my bank account. Get more money, get more money. They should have know that I didn’t have much money to start with. Or I would have not needed their help with the bill. They didn’t help me at all with negotiation, when I said that I  could come up with the money. It became to late because my bank account was frozen. They never tried to call the lawyers at One Main from my first court date. The lawyers from the One Main told me to have them be in touch. To work out something,  Said that they needed to do this, in order to work out something for my welfare Only welfare is for OneMain and Clear One  Advantage welfare. I will never get help from these people again. Didn’t help me at all. Watch and you’ll see, what a big mess I’m in right now. Unbelievable!!!

were you able to cancel your contract and make deals yourself with your credit cards
I have no idea what you’re talking about leslie, i am enrolled in a program with clear one advantage. i have only been in the program for about 4 months and they already have settled out one of my accounts. the fees i am paying in my program are only paid after the account gets settled. i would absolutely recommend their program to anyone that is looking for a settlement program

Clear One Advantage is a scam, with completely unprofessional and unavailable, rude employees. They do not contact your credit card companies until after 20 months of them collecting “thier fees” and establishing a line of credit from your pocket……which is really code for them pocketing your money. You are better off calling your credit card companies yourself. Be warned.
