Is the Payment Relief Center Program Real or Fraudulent? – Manuel

“Dear Steve,

The Payment Relief Center is offering to settle my credit debt cards through a Escrow account which I will deposit a sum of money and they will negotiate with my debtors. They are offering to reduce in 60% my debt and fully pay in 2 years. The site is I want to know if this company is reliable.

I want to know if this program is real and if the company exist and is not fraudulent.

Dear Manuel,

No debt settlement company has any authority or control over any debt reduction you may be able to achieve. The FAQ section of the Payment Relief Center site seems to not address this.

If you have been promised a specific reduction in debt or a certain time by which you will be debt free I would urge you to read the debt settlement services agreement fine print and you will probably see that they make no guarantees.

There are two article you should read. The first is I Got a Mailer From the Payment Relief Center Initiative Saying I’m Eligible. – Dolores and the second is The Truth About The Success Rates, Failure Rates and Completion Rates of Credit Counseling, Debt Settlement, and Bankruptcy.

In general a debt settlement company has no power or authority to reduce your debt, stop collection calls, get interest waived or prevent you from being sued. If you want to achieve those results the only legal solution that allows you to is bankruptcy.

You are not alone. I'm here to help. There is no need to suffer in silence. We can get through this. Tomorrow can be better than today. Don't give up.
