I was enrolled in a debt management program through a company called “USA Debt Management”, after a short time my account was pass on to Richard Brennan’s company. With no explanation it was then passed on to a company called “Golden State Debt Management”. I am now nearing the completion of the program (2 more monthly payments after 6 years!) I saw your article on Richard Brennan going to jail over his fraudulent activity.
I paid a “security deposit” of $634 at the beginning of my enrollment that I was told would be paid back to me at the completion of the program, Golden State Debt Management with who I am currently enrolled says that they will give me a letter that certifies I have completed the program and that that security deposit has to be gotten from Richard Brennan who as I see from your post is incarcerated. Do I have any recourse to seek out my money or should I just consider it money lost? Thanks for your help!
