My daughter a culinary school & quit, twice. In each instance she took out a student loan. Unfortunately the school did not provide the proper cooking equipment in sufficient quantity for her to progress & she quit both times. These occurances took place five years or so ago & she has been enslaved by the bad loans. She can’t get a decent job because of the bad debt.
In each of the two instances the bank servicing both of her student loans paid off the tuition even though my daughter had left the school. My question is “Is she liable for those loans?”

Ah. . ., well, ya. . ., Student loans must be paid back. And, and they can’t be discharged in Bankruptcy.
Just curious, why would you think that quiting school would even come into the equation?
