Hi There, Wondering if you know of a firm named “American Law Firm” and or “Inc”? They are solicting my business as a Loan Mod Co. and with all the scams out there, I am very worried.

Sorry, I am a Home Owner needing help finding a good one and am… somewhat doing my “Due Dilegence” as I go, hopefully not to late!

Dear Steven,

I think you might be talking about American Law Firm out of California. I don’t think I’ve run into them before.

A search of my typical resources found they have an F rating with the BBB. – Source

There are also complaints about them on this site, and this site.

If you are in need of a loan modification I suggest you first contact your lender and/or a HUD Housing Counselor. Both can provide you with direct assistance and free service.
