Consumer Alliance Processing Corporation – Watch List

The following information appears only because this entity has hit my radar and has raised a concern and I do not want to lose this information. I’m keeping it handy in case issues appear in the future.

This surfaced as part of a client comment on Scam Report: Nationwide Financial Center Charges Consumer to Join DMP

The Pitch

A reader reported that the company is working with at least one marketer to sell access to a credit counseling debt management plan for $1,495. There is no need for a consumer to have to pay that kind of money for access to a DMP.

I was minutes away from sending Nationwide Financial Center the first of what was supposed to be many emails providing my info in order to consolidate some of my debt. Then I googled them and here I am….

The person from NFC I spoke to on the phone mentioned that NFC was an “outreach organization” (marketing) for small non-profit credit counseling agencies that are not allowed to search out clients. I wanted more info so he sent me an email that has links to an agency called Consumers Alliance Processing Corporation (

I do not think either NFC nor CAPC claim to be non-profits on their own websites, and reading this thread confirms my suspicions about these people. Thanks for the info. – Source

  • By reading the link, I belived ACCPROS is supposed to be a neutral nonprofit website to also assist  the individual customer.   Her phone number is listed on the Consumer Alliance Website.  1-866-278-1567  The woman named Lorri Pollack was very generous when I first called, but the following day she called me back very rude and angry.  My guess is she must have some type of relationship to Consumer Alliance.  She says I’m the only consumer that has ever called her with an issue???  What truly is her job. Please see Oct 13th Passage on this website for full story.

  • You can go into the website and have a contract emailed to you. i believe they are for profit and charge
exorbitant monthly fees in some states
