Consumer Statement:

Company operating as Nationwide Financial Consulting contacted me after I applied on line for assistance getting a modification on my defaulted home mortgage. The company received $500.00 of a proposed $750.00 audit charge. The last bank withdrawl of $250.00 has been stopped. The company does not respond to phone calls from me and has not forwarded any information regarding audit claim when requested by me. This type of organization has become almost a disgrace to suffering home mortgage owners. I will be filing a complaint with the California Attorney Generals Office however no one appears to be policing these organizations, they prey on distraught home owners as I have been able to discover through internet research.

Consumer Action Taken:

I tried on numerous times to contact this company they simply do not respond. I have faxed to their fax number and called too their number provided me at the beginning of the process. I am requesting federal assistance in exposing these scam artist, they appear to be unable to do anything that they say in writing that they can regarding assistance to defaulted mortgage owners.

We sent a letter to the company at the address given by the consumer and asked them to publicly respond to this complaint.

  • Steve, unfortunately we do not have any other way to contact this person. Consumer Mediation Services would love to assist this woman in getting her money back. We would love the opportunity to assist with the complaint and communication with this company – We will be able to visit the company’s office as early as next week, meet face to face with the company and discuss refund terms.

    For anyone who wants to know how it works:

    CMS RELENTLESSLY goes after companies like this for a full refund for the victim. If we are able to get a refund, we keep 30%. We have a very powerful method the companies don’t enjoy dealing with.

    In this case, the victim paid $500. This person would pay us a smal fee of $30 to start. If we are unable to get her any money back, we will refund half of the $30 back to her. If we are able to get her the $500, we will keep 30% of that, minus the $30 she already paid.

    Cheap price for a corporate pit bull going after scum bag companies screwing people out of money they can’t afford to lose.

    PEOPLE: WE NEED TO FIGHT THESE COMPANIES TOGETHER. IT’S GOOD VERSUS BAD. Help create awareness.
