I thought you might be interested in reporting on the following legal scam that many hundreds if not thousands of honest hard working business people are affected by. Two company’s involved, might be others, one is QSL-Tenders – another companies is called BiP solutions –

They have a website that offers a free trial to a tender list service. Most of these tenders are available free anyway, but honest and sometimes new small business people look at these site’s to try generate more business.

During the trial process you are led through a series of pages where it says, free, free, free, no credit card of financial details are entered so you feel asif its risk free. The real terms are hidden from view and there is an innocuous line that states them – a misleading website…

The trap is that if you don’t cancel the subscription during the 4 weeks you are liable to a full year’s subscription- £700 – £2500 +
Most of the setup emails get spammed, some people don’t read or see the terms and say 5 out of 10 people forget to end the trial. What happens then is an invoice for the full amount arrives soon after the trials expire, they don’t contact you within the trial period or speak to you at the end, just let it over run, and sting you.

They are putting people out of business and I am one of those people who are struggling to makes ends meet. I now have now an invoice for £1000 for a service I never used only within the free trial period, never wanted, never could afford at those prices and who wasn’t fully aware of the terms and conditions – but because you ticked a box then you are bound.

Please do something to help, there are countless web forums where people are in ruins over being taken for large sums of money from a service and company that doesn’t care about its customers. They just try catching people with the free trial and they using strong arm, threatening tactics to get their money back, it is a Scam.

The governments needs to supports growing business and protect them from unscrupulous companies that can cripple new and existing business with these high charges that most people can’t afford.

  • qsl are bully’s they tried to get money out of me but when it came down to it they don’t have a leg to stand on in court. Read all the other blogs about these these scam bags AND DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY

    • Im in the same position over £1k in debt now but unfortunatley they have passed this onto a debt collection company without any contact from QSL  I can’t even remember signing up to the free trail if I did and they contacted me straight away then I would of paid the small fee now the debt company want to take me to court. I hardly have a penny to my name. I really dont know what to do. How does that Caroline Duncombe sleep at night.

    I am contacting you because we have been advised by our solicitor that the threads posted on your forum are deemed as Libel towards QSL and therefore should be completely removed.

    We have absolute proof that all of the statements made by your forum members are falsehoods and therefore need to be removed.

    These statements have to be proven to be true by the author and not defended by person or persons broadcasted about. Therefore the hosts of the broadcast are responsible for the removal of any such libellous literature.

    • A consumer has filed the report against you regarding services you may have provided. Not us.

      We want to make sure people have a chance to hear your side of the issue as well. Hopefully your response will be a positive and timely one so people can witness the exceptional customer service you may provide to make this consumer happy and resolve the issue.

      • Caroline Duncombe fears her lively hood of taking honest peoples
        money from this dodgy service will halt if it continues to be exposed…
        Its a shame they never listened to the endless people who have
        complained about them and there terms, maybe if they listened and
        valued there customers then there would be no reason for anyone
        to post anything bad about  them? But it seems to be lots of people with bad bad experiences about QSL Ltd

          QSL provides a tender lead subscription service to any business wishing to tender for public sector contracts. I see that you have an opinion on our service and would very much like to discuss this with you. However, I’m unable to find any subscribed account with your name. Are you are sure you have an account with ?           • Transparency… thats a good one coming from the company that does its
            utmost to fool, deceive and intimidate customers who for one reason or another
            fail to cancel there not free trial or don’t want it all. You never like to listen
            to them, do you…

            There is no fairness or transparency about the way you work, there is no
            transparency about your terms and conditions that so so many people keep not
            seeing or reading…but you make sure you criminalise them, don’t you….

            I guess its everyone else who is too blame, not the upstanding company
            that is without question or change – QSL Ltd…what a joke you are and what a
            shabby outfit you run.
