back in 2001 I got my first credit card and i lived in california. I was hurt on the job and was unable to pay. the late fee and other add on fee added up to a large sum of money. my credit limit was only $200. today 1/09/2012 i live in kentucky and these people contacted me wanting me to pay $1500. Do they have to go by california law or since i live in kentucky does that change the whole collection process??
