  1. I just found out that the debt they claimed to have owned and I payed was not owned by them and the money I payed them did not go towards it and therefor did not come off my credit report. So now I am in touch with the correct debt collectors and having to pay it all over again. I’m disputing the charge with my bank.

  2. I just got a call from Jackson Capital. Did not answer. ON the voicemail, lady sounded very threatening. She knew my last four of my ssn, my birthdate, rattled off a “case number”. Was warning me that if I did not get back to her she would move the papers on to my town court for further court action. About 5 minutes after she called my phone, same number called my husband’s phone number.
If I am going to be served, I will wait for the paper to be in my hand. I have received other summons scam calls before. always a threatening voice. Never anyone showing up at my door to serve me. In fact, a few years ago, my father got a call about me. I paid that company, then found out they were a scam, and luckily, through my bank, got my $1200 back.
    Beware….
