Back in 2007 I contacted Fast Debt Solutions about getting my debt under control. I had about 12k in credit card debt (2 cards) and it seemed like I was getting buried with it. I signed up for thier program, stopped by on the card cards and actually paid on off. In 2009, I was able to make my last payment to FDS and settle the credit card company. I was served to appear in a court and I wasnt going to do that. I thought that I had this all behind me until I recieved a letter the other from a law firm about the debt I thought I had paid off. I still had FDS’s phone number, so I called it. Number disconnected. Then I Googled FDS and that’s how I found this website. My question is: What am I supposed to do with this letter for debt that I thought I had paid off? I have received phone calls and they even have called me parents house! Can you please help with this nightmare?
