Consumer Statement:
I paid UFAN $5,000 to help me with a lawsuit against my lender for not refinancing me after jumping through hoops (J.P. Morgan Chase). I get a letter dated October 3rd 2012 stating we lost the lawsuit. They state that they will help me with the loan modification for no charge, since we lost the suit. I have been sending emails, no one is responding. I try to call them and they are not taking calls. The voice mailbox is full, so I can’t even leave a message.

I send emails and call them daily, but no one is willing to call or contact me.

It is correct that the Chase case was dismissed. In an effort to provide as much help to the former plaintiffs as possible, UFAN has agreed to provide modification services at no cost. UFAN has no legal duty to offer these services at no charge.

It is also important to remember that there were over 40 properties in the Chase suit and everyone is calling all at the same time. UFAN has downsized.
