Lloyd Ward & Associates – Consumer Complaint – February 28, 2013

Consumer Statement:

Lloyd Ward and Associates destroyed our credit. Yes, we created debt, but we looked for help instead of filing bankruptcy. They convinced us they could help us get out of debt by settling and consolidating. We paid $465.00 a month for 36 months, then we began getting subpoena’s. We called Lloyd Ward and Associates and they said these things sometimes happen and we just need to respond. We began questioning and realized they were not doing what they said they would do. Now our credit is destroyed, we have lots of “derogatory”and unpaid debt. We were never late on payments until they told us not to pay and they would take over. We still have all our paperwork from them. We feel awful.

Consumer Action Taken:

We contacted the company, we contacted a lawyer, we got a credit report. They never contacted all our creditors. This is awful! We really don’t know the exact date this came to a head.
