The myths are:

  1. You should be dead broke until you file for bankruptcy.
  2. Bankruptcy ruins your credit score.
  3. You lose your home if you go bankrupt.
  4. You should max out your credit cards before going bankrupt.
  5. You should raid your 401(k) to pay your bills before going bankrupt.
