Consumer Statement:
I received a threatening call from a local number made by a “Mr. John Anderson”. He stated that I have a case pending against me for fraudulent activity.
This was the second call. I was told to call 855-716-4550 to rectify this debt.
When I called I was serviced by the first representative as expected and hung up on. I called back and spoke with Dorian Page. After a long discussion I finally got a very small amount of information on what the communications were regarding.
Allegiance out of Dover DE (fictitious) has information that I had an outstanding debt to Vandelier. I’ve received calls from numerous scams on this PAID debt.
Consumer Action Taken:
John (of Allegiance) finally gave me, “the last 4 numbers of the account” to which he was referring so that he could verify it was the right debt when I called back. I have a paid receipt from this debt and called back to offer it.
I got voicemail. I left a message that this is the same scam debt I’ve dealt with other scams about and have a receipt of paid in full if they’d like to call back and challenge me further. So far, no word.
