Another National Debt Relief Employee Sues for Wages?

By on July 5, 2016

Damn!

Looks like more than a few National Debt Relief employees are pissed off over alleged missing wages. See this article from about a month ago.

While that previous case looks like a class action suit, this one comes from an individual employee. On June 28, 2016 Ahmad Faraj filed suit against National Debt Relief and made the following allegations.

Faraj was a “Certified Debt Specialist” and created debt resolution options and generated new client contracts.

National Debt Relief did not pay Faraj for hours over 40-per-week that he worked.

Between June 3, 2013 and January 25, 2015, Faraj worked approximately 1,677 overtime hours.

You can read the court document below.

Bottom line, this seems like an easy problem to avoid by just paying overtime wages.
