Consumer Complaint: Navient has reported SEVEN of my student loans as previously delinquent. This was recently learned when speaking to my lender about trying to obtain a mortgage. The student loans in question were wrongfully taken out of deferment and Navient will not correct the issue and remove the delinquent remarks on my credit report. I have tried speaking with them as well as disputing the information via the credit reporting agencies. I have been enrolled at XXXX XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX and am not anticipated to graduate until late XX/XX/XXXX, mid XX/XX/XXXX. The only remedy Navient has done is place the delinquent accounts in a current status.
2 of them opened XX/XX/XXXX, with 4 missed payments, XX/XX/XXXX with 4 missed payments, XX/XX/XXXX with 4 missed payment, and 3 in XX/XX/XXXX with 4 missed payments.
As a result of their inconsistency and unwillingness to assist an XXXX XXXX veteran, my credit score has suffered immensely and my ability to get a home loan is now dependent on whether or not they will remedy their previous error.
