Consumer Complaint: A few months ago I ordered a credit report and noticed that I had a new collection on file from AARGON agency, I immediately made contact with AARGON agency and told them that this information was incorrect. I mailed them several letters and put in several disputes online as well. This account is not mine and I don’t appreciate them sending my personal information out, violating my HIPPA rights. In another complaint this company mentioned something about an identity theft package. ( which I never received ) I have attached 2 separate identity theft packages, one that dates all the way back to XX/XX/XXXX and a more current one from XX/XX/XXXX! This debt is not mine. This company is failing to validate the information in which they are trying to collect on. I have been trying for several months to receive validation of this collection in which they are saying is mine. Please be advised I have requested ” validation ” not verification of the item reported by the above collection agency. I have received a response that does not indicate or prove : 1. I had this service.
2. What services I am being charged for.
3. What the cost of each service I am being charged for.
Furthermore, Aargon Collection Agency did NOT provide me with a HIPPA release that releases my medical information to them, therefore by providing such information they are in VIOLATION of my HIPPA rights. Please help me with this company.
