Consumer Complaint: I attended XXXX XXXX college back in XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. I had a student loan with sale mea that was sold to, two different companies. one XXXX and the other Navient. I never had my GED when I attended XXXX XXXX college and was not able to benefit from degree- I submitted paperwork to both loans ( ability to benefit ) will all required documentation I was told. I submitted application/GED/GED scores/final grads transcripts from XXXX XXXX college. XXXX accepted these quickly and approved the application and is now pending with department of education FASA. Navient on the other had, is the one who told me to attach these documents and now is trying everything in their power to decline my application. first the said I had to correct last name, so I did, then they told me to resubmit application because I did not have a references on it, so I did. Now they stated I need to submit an agreement from school. The college I went to is no longer, has be cut off by government funds so they filed bankruptcy and shut their doors due to corrupt actions. I can not get this paperwork, on the gov department website it stated to show proof of GED and Transcripts and application which I did. when I call them they will not put me on the phone with the correct people, when I ask for supervisor they hang up. I told them I would put in a complaint due to them not wanting to process my paperwork and they hung up on me. I don’t know what to do if I loan approved and this loan will not- it is all from the same school. I can not get anyone from that loan to answer my questions, they refuse to process application and eat time I submit what they ask they come back with another and another, information school would have that no longer exists. please help.
