Can I Start College Over With My Transcript?

Question:

Dear Steve,

I attended college 0ver 10 years ago. I would like to enroll in college as a freshman. I looked into ASU which has an earned admissions program and was advised I would still need transcripts from the previous college. I explained that I want to start as a freshman that the prev college was only regionally accredited and non of my credits earned even count.

Can I go back to school a first-time freshman without the transcript? Since my credits will not transfer anyway.

Dear Shawn,

I don’t see any reason why you can’t. Just don’t tell them about the other school.
