“Dear Steve,

I am going through a divorce. Me and my husband bought a truck back in the March 2010 and I want him take my name from truck loan but he said he can’t refinance it yet and want leave my name on the loan for 1,5 year more.

What kind of contract can I make him to sign to make him take me out of truck loan in 1,5 year?

Dear Natalia,

Unless you or he can refinance the loan and pay the loan off I seriously doubt the lender is going to remove you from the loan.

There is no contract I am aware of that you could enter with your ex-husband to have your name removed. The truck loan is between the two of you and the lender, not between you and your ex-husband.
