Tipster Sends in Postcard Pitch. Do You Think It’s a Good Idea?

A tipster (send in your tips here) just sent in an mailer they got from a marketing firm that wanted to target people in their area that are 60 days late on their mortgage, have late credit card payments, lawsuits, or judgments.

Does anyone think it’s a smart move to contact these people using the postcards shown below?

Is anyone concerned that a postcard like this might trigger FDCPA issues if the agency or company could be viewed as assisting to collect a debt?
