“Dear Steve,
I am about to do business with preferred financial company and pacific debt company…
this company pacific debt told me he charge 24 percent per debt…thats alot of money to charge per debt owe. now preferred financial , ive emailed this person working there 3 times asking what is their charges per debt….they kept saying to call.
lately i just feel like walking away from these two cards and say screw you because they charge us very very high interest and we re paying much much more than what we owe. its too much and im ready to walk away rather than having to go through all this burdens instead of help from these companies.”
You are correct, the fees Pacific Debt is charging are very high. Especially when other companies charge as little as 15 percent of the amount of money they save you instead of charging you for the amount of debt you enroll.
I think the bigger issue here is if you even need a debt settlement solution at all.
Let’s start with the basics.
I’d suggest you first read How to Get Out of Debt. The Honest and Unvarnished Truth and The Truth About The Success Rates, Failure Rates and Completion Rates of Credit Counseling, Debt Settlement, and Bankruptcy. They will give you a great overview of what we need to deal with to get you moving in the right direction.
Then use the free How to Get Out of Debt Calculator to review your options.
After that, come back here and comment about what seems to make the most sense and let’s discuss that.

You are not alone. I'm here to help. There is no need to suffer in silence. We can get through this. Tomorrow can be better than today. Don't give up.
