Consumer Statement:
The CLS Group of Wilmington California offered a refinance on my house, complete with mortgage and budget paperwork, etc. They even told me the difference between a 15-year and 30-year mortgage at the given rate. The person I dealt with was David Niman. After I paid a $1500 check written to “The CLS Group” to refinance, The CLS Group and David Niman disappeared. Their phone and e-mail contacts stopped working all of a sudden.
Consumer Action Taken:
I tried to call and tried to e-mail, but the given phone number and web address were disconnected and “under construction.”
