I have a relative who has engaged World Law Group to help negotiate down his credit card debt I’m wondering if there is any way to know if this group is legitimate and if there is a general recommendation regarding this firm versus other firms of this type.
Jeff”

Of course I have to ask the obvious, what is legitimate?

They will give you a great overview of what we need to deal with to get you moving in the right direction.
Then use the free How to Get Out of Debt Calculator to review your options.
After that, come back here and comment about what seems to make the most sense and let’s discuss that.
