I have a relative who has engaged World Law Group to help negotiate down his credit card debt I’m wondering if there is any way to know if this group is legitimate and if there is a general recommendation regarding this firm versus other firms of this type.
Yes, make sure no debt settlement firm is charging you any fees for settling the debt before they actually get a settlement offer from the creditors and the consumer accepts it.
Of course I have to ask the obvious, what is legitimate?

World Law Took over $6000 of our money and did nothing. Is there anything I can do to
get my money back. A man from Global Financial called and said he worked for them but wanted to help us that he heped consumers. Called and talked twice and thought he was going to help. Now he hasn’t returned our calls. What do we do?
