“Dear Steve,
I have a judgement that was granted against me in 2009 for a credit card ($7000.) at that time all of my assets were tied up in payments ( no real estate ) I had bought a truck for my business; had to use personal credit so the truck is still in my name instead of the LLC.
Is there anyway I can put a lien against the truck until I can negotiate a settlement for the credit card?

Dear Gary,
It’s not clear from your question if you already have a lien against the truck for the purchase of it.
If the truck is in your name then it is your asset. If it has no lien against it I suppose you could try to use it as collateral for a loan but if your credit score is above 640 you might want to investigate LendingClub.com for an unsecured loan and then use those funds to settle your debt instead.
If you do decide to go the Lending Club route, post your loan number in the comments below and I’ll help to fund it.
Please post your responses and follow-up messages to me on this in the comments section below.
No the truck is paid for now (easy picking by creditor) ( in reference to previous question)
I would like to get debt settled but also insulate the assets from being seized.
Have you considered going to you local Credit Union and putting up the truck as collateral for a loan against it?
