Secret Shopper Scam – Consumer Complaint – January 15, 2013

Consumer Statement:

my name is nikki. I post on craigslist my business ads.. and was emailed by erin maloney about secret shopper position. It peaked my interest because ive signed up for shopper oportunities in the past. Yesterday I recieved a text message telling me to check my email. The email enclosed a tracking number to the letter containing my paycheck and details to my assignment. The next day it came.. A cashier check for 2485.00 the remitter is perl timothy. The bank is commerce bank. my first assignment was to western union this address jessica holland , Dubai Marina yacht club, STREET H,DISTRICT 4, DUBAI MARINA,UNITED ARAB EMIRATE .. .. I started doing research and found this site. It verified that this was a scam.. thank you…

Erin maloney uses google talk to contact its victims.. this number is a florida 786-548-1063 but I will be reporting them to the fDIC ..
