Consumer Statement:
I called the State Law Group in October 2011 and spoke with a Kim Cooke who advised I qualified for a loan modification and I sent them the $2500 they asked for as a retainer for services. I sent the money and the documents requested, including bank statements, my 2011 income tax return, etc. Never heard fro them. Finally, when I did hear from someone I was assigned to a different person every month. Long story short, they told not to pay my mortgage and now when I tried to contact them I found out they are out of business. They have my money, inforemation about me, have done nothing and am at risk of foreclosure since I have not paid my mortgage since October 2011 per they advice.

Tried calling several number and each one says company no longer in existence.
