First National Financial Group – Consumer Complaint – April 2, 2013

Consumer Statement:

I signed up with First National Financial Group to help with debt settlement. We agreed upon $384.45 per month for four years. Spoke with Jerry Nichter and Jacqueline Meijia several times in the beginning and they were VERY eager to help.

After about 7 months of sending in my money, I wrote an email to them and there was no response. I started to have a really bad feeling about this company so I held the next months payment. I heard from Jerry pretty quickly after that.

I was also told that they were just about to settle with one company, but since I didn’t send my payment, they couldn’t do that. I quickly mailed payment # 8 on.

Heard nothing.

The following month I inquired 2 weeks prior to the payment date, again nothing. Jerry claimed he “had the flu”. Stupidly I sent my last payment in December, 2012. At this point they were in receipt of $3460.05. Never heard from them again but I did receive two settlement offers they made which had $5000 due in a couple of days. AND, not one penny of the money I sent them was being used. I have since started to settle with these companies myself and have done much better. Please don’t use these kind of “Debt Specialists”. They only take your money.

Consumer Action Taken:

I sent them a registered letter requesting my money back. Have heard nothing.
