We Have to File Bankruptcy Again. Will We Have a Problem With That?

Written by Steve Rhode

“Dear Steve,

We filed chapter 7 bankruptcy 11 years ago and unfortuanatley or in the place where we need to file again.

Do you know if the courts treat someone differently when they know you have discharged a Chptr. 7 bankruptcy previously?

Dear Laura,

It will not be a factor or concern.

Don’t worry.

There is no sense wasting the experience of filing again. Take what you can learn from the situation and set yourself off on a path that will help you prevent finding yourself here again.
