American Express Teleconference Lawsuit. – Ernie

Ernie

“Dear Steve,

I have a notice to appear in a judges chamber for a teleconference call with a law firm of Wagner and Hunt (American Express), In the past we have corresponded each time I gave them an offer to settle but they have never responded and now we are about to go to this step.

I do not feel comfortable enough to go in to a Judges office without an attorney

Can you recommend one (Lake County Florida) or can you suggest a next step.

I have been contemplating offering them my tax return (about 3500 They say I owe about 11000) I do not know how to word the letter yet I am open to suggestions

How can I resolvwe this issue?

Ernie”

Dear Ernie,

You can find a local attorney. Just open the yellow pages and call some local attorneys and if they can’t help you, ask for a recommendation of a local attorney that can.

American Express is particularly aggressive in these matters and I would not want to see you either make an offer to them or face their lawyers without legal representation.

Ernie, get a local attorney to assist you with this.

Sincerely,

You are not alone. I'm here to help. There is no need to suffer in silence. We can get through this. Tomorrow can be better than today. Don't give up.
