Consumer Statement:
I was called by this company to help with my student loans. I was interested in a forbearance. They told me of other programs that I was eligible for. They asked for my PIN. I was told by them that they are the the student loan department and that they have power to consolidate my student loans. I was told I needed to pay the underwriting fee of 699.00 to get the new payment of 0 dollars a month. They have began to take money out of my checking account from that bank statements that they requested.
Consumer Action Taken:
I called to cancel ” 100% guaranteed” and they don’t answer their phones anymore. I have charged back my credit cards and am taking care of this.
