Recently I’ve had several different mailers sent in that seem to continue the past theme of looking like official notices, government mailers, or continuing to use official seals or logos. Here is one of them.
Consumer Services Corp. / Client Services
The one below from Credit Services uses an official looking seal and the mailing address appears to be a private mail box drop.
The fine print at the bottom makes it appear this is an attorney model debt settlement offer.
The website listed at the bottom of the Client Services mailer shows a site for Consumer Services Corp. at 806-302-3328, 866-302-DEBT. A Google search for that number could not identify any company. The State of New York had to record of a company registered under that name.
Here is what the website looked like when I visited it.
The BBB gives a company called Consumer Services Corp. in New York an F Rating and has issued a consumer alert on this company. – Source
The website for Debt-Reduction.org was hosted on the same server along with famecastle.com, johnnyhottub.com, pvny.net, stephenprobst.com, and thepublicink.com. While the ownership is hidden by some of the domains, PVNY.net is registered to a Robert Filonuk; StephenProbst.com is registered to Patrick Scomello; and, TheOublicInk.com is registered to Billy DiGenova.
As you can see below, most of the domains resolve to a website that looks the same as that listed in the mailer sent to consumers.
