have a concern I would like to address. I used to attend the College of St. Rose In Albany I had to drop out due to my sudden sickness in 2016.
I have been trying to contact my college in regards to getting my transcript.
It’s been almost 4 years since I have been on a payment plan and I’ve asked on multiple occasions.
The school sent me collections notices yet it never hit my credit. I was sent an affidavit I paid nearly 4 thousand of my 5,300.36 debt.
I’ve asked if I could receive my transcript and or if I could receive my unofficial transcript.
I was told different things each time I had emailed the staff. I had receipts of the college staff saying I don’t owe anything to my accounts.
To me being sent notices to my house of notice payments. Even though I’m still on a payment paid I cant receive my transcript.
Why can’t I receive my transcript?
Is there anything I can do to just have my remaining balance dismissed?
Could I be able to fix this situation further? If so how?

What we have here is a mystery screaming for a resolution.
What makes this difficult is the information you have is a bit conflicting.
I can understand why the transcript is withheld until the balance is satisfied, but you say you’ve been told you don’t owe anything.
I’d suggest you call the Bursar’s Office at the College of Saint Rose and attempt to get some clarity about what is really going on.
I’d call rather than email so you can discuss this with someone. You can reach the office at 518-458-5464. They are open from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
