  • Greta,

The concept of rescinding and denouncing your Straw man (Your name in all capital letters) as it appears in virtually all adhesion contracts between you and governmental, banking, licensing departments with the filing of certain legal theory documents with said governmental agencies, county recorders office etc… is a farce.

Whatever you have read or been pitched in this regard and whatever your motive for following through with it, it will be a waste of time and effort.

The “process” for obtaining personal sovereignty has its roots in the 1970’s when the mid west farming community was experiencing its own mini depression. Many of its outspoken supporters and promoters, both then and now, have been charged and jailed or are under indictment today.
Do some research on Roger Elvick, one of the movements early figure heads, The Montana Freeman, or Barton Buhtz or the Dorean Group.

Its not the act of attempting to rescind contracts with ineffective administrative documents such as UCC, expatriation and other such processes that are the problem. When looked at from a pure ideological stance of protest for what government has become in the eyes of the individual who wants to take a stand of peaceful protest, its harmless. However, it changes nothing as to your tax, debt, license requirements etc… That is not why most people do it though. They get all hopped up on anti government sentiment and start using bills of exchange and present them in legitimate commercial transactions, or to the IRS. They think they will be able to get out of credit card debt, or even secured debt, with the magic set of documents.

Making a statement against the system, or raging against the machine, or identifying the Orwellian nature of certain aspects of current society is not hard to do. In many ways, depending on the approach, it is laudable. Due to the economy and financial circumstances of millions of Americans across the country I can even see potential for a grass roots ground swell that may in fact lead to a political will for change.

When there is a political will for change is when change will be accomplished.

Has there been money interests that have conspired against the American people in the past? Yes, some of which is well documented in our history.

Has there been regulatory capture by money interests in today’s society? Absolutely.

Have money interests lobbied and procured for themselves a special set of rules? Indeed.

Have many Americans become disaffected with the political process? Yes.

Are there intelligent and respected people covering these issues? Yes. More so now than I have experienced in the 20 years I have been paying attention. They are not filing UCC financing statements on their own name or attempting to gain some type of perceived sovereignty through a meaningless administrative document process.

Greta, why do you want to “become sovereign”?

    • Then, please explain how the Amish community lives outside the standard norm of our government, with their own little communities, paying no taxes, etc..
