Reader Expresses Concern Over Spire Law Group Going POOF!

I received the following tip from a reader, send your tips in here. Apparently Spire Law Group has finally fully imploded.

The reader says, “Spire Law is closed down( Aug 2014) leaving all their clients holding the bag. The Abeel v Bank of America lawsuit was dismissed. As a way to keep their clients at bay, Spire Law came up with a possible new lawsuit involving violation of the National Mortgage settlement. Over 1000 clients paid $5,000 to $10K to be add joinders. The lawsuit was a scam disguised as a mass joinder. The firm used retainer fees to pay overhead operating expenses water, electricity, rent etc, and not for legal fees.

What client goes to an lawyer deposits $10K retainer fee and then states by the way out of the $10k use whatever amount to pay your overhead expenses and keep you in business???
The client would not be client but an investor of the firm.

I urge that all 1000 + clients demand a refund, an accountability of fees to comply with CA State Bar Rule 4-100(B)(3). and file a complaint with the State Bar.

I filed a complaint with the State Bar and they issued a warning letter to James Fiedler but will consider disciplinary actions if more complaints are filed. I have the letter from the Ca State Bar.

Background on Spire Law Group

For those that might not recognize the name Spire Law Group, click here to refresh your memory.

Spire Law Group hit the scene hard a couple of years ago with a huge press splash all about how consumers were deceived by “Banksters” and said, “This District Court Complaint – maintained by Spire Law Group, LLP — is the only lawsuit in the world listing as Defendants the Banksters, let alone serving all of such Banksters with legal process and therefore forcing them to finally answer the charges in court.”

“James N. Fiedler, Managing Partner of Spire Law Group, LLP, stated: “It is hard for me to believe as a 47-year lawyer that our nation’s guardians have been unwilling to stop this theft. Spire Law Group, LLP stands for the elimination of corruption and implementation of lawful strategies, and that is what we’re doing here. Spire Law Group, LLP’s charter is to not allow such corruption to go unanswered.” – Source

In the press release, Spire Law Group said, “Spire Law Group, LLP is a national law firm whose motto is “the public should be protected — at all costs — from corruption in whatever form it presents itself.”

Now if you were a client of Spire Law Group and you feel your money went missing, as the reader appears to, the State Bar of California has a Client Security Fund to claim back up to $100,000 in lost funds paid to a California lawyer. See this link for more details.

I guess Spire Law Group forgot to take into account the clients that might have been left holding the bag when they went poof. Even their website, spire-law.com now goes to what appears to be a Japanese bottled water company.

  1. Soooo…. this is it? After their 500+page court filing to recover damages from just about every national bank on behalf of their customers this is it? Wow, I am deeply disappointed but really not that surprised. How Spire law ever thought they would have any chance at success in this endeavor would take a crazy man to find. When you go up against 43 trillion plus in stolen money you just don’t have much of a chance. Especially when those you have targeted as the bad guys include all the top officials in the current administration and all the regulators who’s job it is to take these matters up as a matter of their regular charter. The whole scam has been exposed and nothing will come of it? Except for its continuation which it does to this day. The banksters really do exist, they have broken countless laws and illegally foreclosed on countless homeowners. Only a handful of judges across the country were not either bought off or intimidated into allowing the outright criminal activities of the banks to continue in their jurisdictions, but they are too few and their efforts to bring actual justice in the courts has been hushed up and covered up time and time again. It is wrong, it is unfair and it is despicable what the judicial system in this country is. Sad sad sad.

  2. Steve Rhode, this article you wrote Dec 2, 2014 is well written. Spire Law Group shut down 8/2014 but for some reason they are still in communication along with mis – information. Do you know who James Fielder is? His LinkedIN account states, by his own admission, that he is Chair of VISTAGE for the past 4 months and that he was a managing partner at Spire Law Group up until 9/2014for 2 years 9 months.
