Question:
Dear Steve,
Watching you site for quite a while. Recently I took out a pay day loan to help my son. Huge mistake. They are charging over 300 dollars every two weeks. We were making the payments and then got hit with a auto renewal we were not expecting.
Bang! everything bounces and then we get hit with bank fees. Wife panics and takes another pay day loan… long story short we are now several hundred dollars negative in the bank and close to 24,000 total. Oh, my wife lost her income during all this so there goes 2,000 a month out the window. I can’t file bankruptcy because I have to travel with my job and if the credit card goes then I am gone.
I ran across a debt settlement company called Curadebt. They seem to have good reviews and as far as I can tell are associated with PEAK Legal services. Have you ever heard of them or know anything about them? By the way if any readers see this STAY AWAY FROM PAY DAY LOANS!!
