Who Can I Trust to Help Me Out of Debt? – PSD

“Dear Steve,

I currently have a lot of cc debt. I am making the money to pay it if i could consolidate it & lessen the interest rates. But, I dont know who I can trust to help me.

Who can i trust?

Dear PSD,

That’s an excellent question. I know who I trust for credit counseling and debt settlement and if you follow those links you’ll see.

But when it comes to trust I prefer trust based on knowledge and information rather than blind trust.

Ultimately it will be up to you to determine who is best for you to work with for debt help. And the only way you can determine that independently is to approach companies and ask questions. You also need to investigate bankruptcy, credit counseling, and debt settlement to become knowledgeable about all the options. I encourage you to investigate them, ask questions and then ponder over what you learned.

The bottom line is if anyone makes some claim that you think it is too good to be true, it probably is. Just come back and ask me in the comments section below and I’ll give you my feedback on that point.

Think about looking for a debt solution like buying a car. You don’t just point at the first car you see and say you’ll take that one. You look around a bit and do some research. That’s all I’m asking you to do. Make sense?

Oh yes, if you want to talk to an independent party and get a second opinion, I suggest you call and speak with Damon Day. He still does telephone consultations. I don’t anymore.

Please update me on your progress by posting updates here in the comments section of your question. I’m very interested in how this works out for you.
