Dear Shirley,

If you feel the bankruptcy trustee has been rude and not treated you fairly I would urge you to call the Office of the Director of the U.S. Trustee Program at 202-307-1391 and file a complaint. You can also send an email to [email protected] but be sure to include your name, address, and phone number on all inquiries. If you are writing about a particular bankruptcy case, please specify: (1) the bankruptcy court location and (2) the debtor’s name and/or bankruptcy case number.

Your bankruptcy attorney should still be available to ask questions of if you have any unresolved issues.

Please post your responses and follow-up messages to me on this in the comments section below.

Sincerly,

You are not alone. I'm here to help. There is no need to suffer in silence. We can get through this. Tomorrow can be better than today. Don't give up.
